Our near neighbours have recieved a new Cat 1 and the brigade is chuffed.

A few members turned out today for the first Saturday of the month washing of the units and social BBQ.

Another Success!!

Salt Ash Brigade today had itself an old fashioned flag pole raisin!! The Brigade erected its new flag pole, designed and constructed by the Brigade with materials supplied at cost by Hunter Metal Mart, Heatherbrae - many many thanks.

Looks great!! This was followed by the planting of some coastal lavender around the lawn which in time will form a lovely hedge - thanks to Michael of the Brigade for supplying the plants at cost

Big Dance Social!

The local Dance Club holds a social dance night to benefit the Brigade and what a night it was!

Port Stephens Welfare Brigade and Salt Ash Brigade jointly supplied the supper for a donation as well as raffles etc.

There were exhibition dancers from the Medowie Studio who put on a wonderful show, such skill.

However the highlight of the night was the organiser trying to get some Brigade members to dance! Its reported they have never been seen running so fast, even from fire! And they think they dance around fires!!!
